My name is Laura Lee Fitzpatrick. I teach first grade in Coconut Creek, Florida at an amazing school called North Broward Preparatory School. I am a mom, a speaker, a blogger and most recently, a soon-to-be-published author!
I believe that inspiring children to adopt a growth mindset is one of the most important things that I can do as a teacher. Teaching children as young as six that using affirmations everyday is powerful! I am honored to have the gift of influencing the children that come into my classroom each year. While I will never have all of the answers, I hope to always be inspired to learn as much as I can so that I can help our future generations become positive,kind,confident human beings. This blog will showcase the process of learning, teaching, and becoming the best we can be through reinforcing positive habits of mind and a growth mindset… We are always learning and becoming!
